January 2025 marked a monumental challenge for two of our rising stars, Yasmin Ahmed and Shazhaib Ramjahn. With only three weeks’ notice, they fearlessly stepped up to compete at the prestigious Ringsports Grand Prix Open Championships in Germany—facing some of the best U18 fighters in both K-1 and Muay Thai rules.

Training for the Ultimate Test
Despite having no prior experience with elbows, both warriors dedicated themselves to intensive training under the watchful eye of their head coach Khru Sam Nankani. They quietly honed their skills, preparing to make their debuts on the international stage. With determination and relentless effort, they transformed into formidable contenders.

A Championship to Remember
Yasmin showcased her exceptional talent, claiming victory in the finals against a tough opponent from France. She didn’t stop there—she went on to win the semi-pro division, defeating a strong competitor from Germany. In an electrifying bout against a Dutch opponent, she narrowly missed the win on points but left a lasting impression with her skill and resilience.

Meanwhile, Shazhaib took on the challenge head-on and emerged victorious, securing gold medals in both K-1 and Muay Thai. His performance was nothing short of phenomenal, proving his dominance in the competition.

A Powerful Start to 2025
With their incredible achievements, Yasmin and Shazhaib have set the tone for what promises to be an exciting year ahead for the gym they represent. Their victories are a testament to the dedication, discipline, and warrior spirit of SN Combat Academy.
Congratulations to both our champions! This is just the beginning of an extraordinary journey in their fighting careers. Stay tuned for more action as we continue to push boundaries and make our mark on the world stage!
