HISTORY CREATED – AN UNFORGETTABLE NIGHT IN BOLTON
On May 24th, 2025, history was made — not just for SN Combat Academy, but for women in combat sports across the UK.
Yasmin “Cleanheart” Ahmed, just 17 years old, stepped into the spotlight at the UK’s first-ever female-only open championship in Bolton, squaring off against none other than Leah Butler, a multi-belt champion in kickboxing.
This wasn’t just another fight. It was a championship like no other, bringing together the best female fighters from across the UK, competing in multiple combat disciplines — all under one roof, with live commentary, a roaring crowd, and history unfolding in real time.
⚔️ A Last-Minute Twist. A Champion’s Response.
Originally set to face another opponent, Yasmin’s plans were thrown into chaos when her opponent pulled out the night before the event. With no hesitation, Yasmin rose to the occasion — stepping up to a heavier weight category in the K-1 -60kg division.
Her new opponent? The highly decorated Leah Butler — heavier and vastly more experienced.
But Yasmin didn’t blink.
From the opening bell, she took control. Her performance was a masterclass in calm aggression and technical precision. Crisp punches, well-placed kicks, and relentless knees forced a standing count in the very first round — a clear sign of dominance.
The momentum never shifted.
By the final bell, there was no question — Yasmin was declared the winner by Unanimous Decision, silencing any doubts and securing a legendary victory.
