SN Combat Academy Fighter Delivers Another Outstanding K-1 Performance
The action continued at the amateur fight event as Summer Sawyer of SN Combat Academy took on Amaya Bint from Fight Zone London under K-1 rules (3 x 1½-minute rounds).
From the opening bell, Amaya came out aggressively, looking to dictate the pace with constant forward pressure. However, Summer remained composed throughout the first round, using intelligent movement, well-timed counters, and excellent ring awareness to demonstrate the technical style that has become synonymous with SN Combat Academy.
Between rounds, Head Coach Khru Sam Nankani made key tactical adjustments. Summer listened carefully, executed the game plan perfectly, and immediately began taking control of the contest in the second round. By pushing her opponent backwards, landing clean combinations, and controlling the exchanges, she shifted the momentum firmly in her favour.
As the round progressed, Summer’s pressure and precision proved too much. After the second round, Amaya’s corner made the decision to stop the contest, resulting in a second-round corner stoppage victory for Summer Sawyer.
It was another composed and professional performance that highlighted the core principles of the SN Combat style—technical excellence, intelligent tactics, discipline, and controlled aggression.
Results like these continue to reinforce why SN Combat Academy is recognised as one of the UK’s leading kickboxing and Muay Thai academies. From grassroots development through to national and international competition, our commitment to producing skilled, respectful, and technically outstanding fighters continues to set the standard.
Congratulations to Summer Sawyer on a fantastic victory and another proud moment for the SN Combat Academy team.
