Amateur Striking Scene
After a long-awaited hiatus, Amateur Circuit 8 roared back into action on Saturday 27th June 2026 in Croydon, proudly sanctioned by AFSO. The event marked a major revival for the grassroots striking community, bringing together some of the region’s most committed developing athletes.
Gyms from around the country took part, a testament to the depth and dedication of the UK amateur scene. The fighters brought intensity, discipline, and heart to every round, exactly what Amateur Circuit has always been known for.
Alongside the official decision bouts, spectators were also treated to a handful of exhibition bouts, giving developing athletes a chance to shine under the lights without the pressure of formal scoring.
The return of Amateur Circuit wasn’t just a nostalgic revival; it was a statement. After years away, the event’s comeback signals renewed energy for amateur striking sports in the UK.
