SN Combat Academy fighter Shahzaib Ramjahn won double gold at the Unified World Championships in Italy.
Representing Team England, Shahzaib entered both the Muay Thai and K-1 competitions. He finished the tournament with two world titles and another proud achievement for SN Combat Academy.
As a result, Shahzaib is now a three-time world champion.
World championship victories in two disciplines
First, Shahzaib faced an opponent from Panama in the Muay Thai final.
He remained focused and put his preparation into action. His performance secured the stoppage and earned him his first gold medal of the championships.
Next came the K-1 final against an opponent representing Poland.
Once again, Shahzaib delivered when the pressure was at its highest. This time, he secured a first-round TKO and claimed his second gold medal in Italy.
Winning across two disciplines requires more than physical ability. A fighter must adapt to different rules, techniques and tactical demands. Shahzaib met each challenge and produced decisive results.
Preparation behind the double-gold achievement
SN Combat Academy founder and head coach Sobhraj “Khru Sam” Nankani prepared Shahzaib for both competitions.
Under his guidance, Shahzaib developed the discipline, confidence and technical ability required for the world stage. Most importantly, he trusted the preparation and represented the SN Combat system with pride.
Shahzaib had already established himself as a world champion at the WKO World K-1 Open Championships. However, his latest achievement marks another major step forward.
Shahzaib becomes a three-time world champion
The Shahzaib Ramjahn double-gold victory helped SN Combat Academy and Team England achieve an outstanding championship result.
His two gold medals also contributed to the academy’s combined total of three golds and one silver in Italy.
Everyone at SN Combat Academy is extremely proud of Shahzaib’s achievement. He showed determination, versatility and the courage to test himself against international opposition.
Congratulations to Shahzaib, Khru Sam and everyone who supported the journey.
